Sabres Alumni Events - Sabres Football

The Sabres Football program is interesting in tracking down alumni players to create an alumni association. We hope to hold more events such as the Sabre Alumni Golf Tournament that was successfully held this past summer. The 2nd Annual Red and Black Alumni Golf Tournament and Fund Raiser was held at Legends Golf Course on Saturday, August 28, 2004.

Over 50 golfers hit the course even though showers hindered everyone's grip now and then. In the end... some cheated, some didn't, and no one could believe anyone's score.

Alumni turned up from Sal's first Premier City Championship team from 1984, the 1986 Provincial Championship team, the 1988 Tier 2 Championship team, and the 1989 Tier 1 Provincial finalist team. Too bad they can't play golf as well as they played football!
